My Shelter In Place story
The impact of Covid-19 has displaced many pets. With limited staff, shelters have been struggling. Like many other animal lovers, I decided to help by fostering. Tiger Lily and her 2 siblings came to stay with me when they were 4 weeks old. She was the extrovert of the group and she kept me on my toes with her silly antics. When she wasn’t climbing my house plants like they were trees, she was tipping over the toy basket and spreading all of the toys far and wide throughout the house.
She brought a lot of joy and laughter to me during this pandemic of loneliness and fear.
My niece and her family decided to adopt Tiger Lily and her sister Wendy! I get regular updates and photos. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend my time sheltering in place.
