My Shelter In Place story
Annie has been my running partner since she was about six months old. I started running with Annie because she was a terrible walker, happy only when moving at what she deemed was an acceptable pace. At four years old, Annie and I have run over 2,000 miles together, conquering neighborhood sidewalks, bike paths, and hiking trails alike.

My runs with Annie have always been special but during quarantine, our runs have become pure therapy. My busy, noisy house often becomes overwhelming and an escape outside with Annie to get our hearts pumping is amazing stress relief. I love Annie's enthusiasm for running and how she helps to encourage me to get out the door on days when I feel too tired. She's my exercise buddy, recovery napping friend, and all around good girl. I am so happy to have her in my life!
