Rules

• Anyone may enter a photo that is related to Soul Dog Rescue.
• Photos may feature dogs, cats, fosters, adopted pets, volunteers, clinic trips, adoption events, or other Soul Dog-related moments.
• You do not need to have adopted from Soul Dog to participate.

• Photos must be submitted by the person who owns the photo or has permission to use it.
• Photos should be high-resolution and in focus.
• Photos may be in color or black and white.
• Photos should not contain watermarks, logos, or excessive text.
• Creative holiday, seasonal, and month-themed photos are encouraged but not required.
• Soul Dog Rescue reserves the right to decline photos that are inappropriate, offensive, or do not fit the spirit of the contest.

• Voting opens  noon (12:00 PM Mountain Time) on Thursday, July 16, 2026 and closes 10:00 PM (Mountain Time) on Monday, August 31, 2026.
• Votes are $1 per vote.
• There is no limit to the number of votes a photo may receive.
• Votes are considered donations to Soul Dog Rescue and are non-refundable.
• Participants are encouraged to share their photo and campaign with family, friends, and fellow animal lovers.

• The photo receiving the most votes will be featured on the cover of the 2027 Soul Dog Rescue Calendar and as one of the monthly featured photos.
• The next highest vote-getters will be featured as the primary photo for the remaining calendar months.
• Additional top vote-getters will receive larger feature placements throughout the calendar.

• Photos may be grouped by season, holiday, theme, rescue story, or other design elements.
• The goal of the calendar is to tell the story of Soul Dog Rescue through the animals, volunteers, fosters, adopters, and moments that make our community special.

• Reserve-a-Day entries are available for a $50 donation.
• Dates are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Once a date has been reserved, it is no longer available.
• Reserve-a-Day photos are separate from the voting contest and do not affect contest rankings.
• Reserve-a-Day entries may include a short message, pet name, birthday, adoption anniversary, memorial tribute, or other special recognition.

• By entering the contest, participants grant Soul Dog Rescue permission to use submitted photos in the calendar, on social media, on the Soul Dog website, in email communications, and in future promotional materials related to the contest and organization.

Contest Opens:  noon (12:00 PM Mountain Time) on Wednesday, July 8, 2026

Voting Closes: 10:00 PM (Mountain Time) on Monday, August 31, 2026

Winners Announced: September 2026

Calendars Available for Purchase: Fall 2026
