Pet's Story:
Toby the Tri Paw Wonder!

Toby is a typically fiesty Beagle Boy. He also is the best example of never giving up!! Toby is a Tri Paw since he was 1 years old. He lost one of his hind legs when he got loose while camping in the North Georgia Mountains. The leg was broken so badly that it had to be amputated. Even with a severely broken leg he was able to climb back up the mountain to get back to his family for help. Toby hasn’t let missing a leg slow him down at all! He’s still so fast and beautiful when he runs at full speed. It’s amazing to watch! Some people don’t even notice he has only 3 legs.

He and his family joined the TBBR a year ago and have welcomed 16 Beagles (9 puppies) into their home. Toby loves going to the dog park on adoption days with his foster brother and sisters. His favorite thing to do is find the biggest dogs there to bark at and chase. He’s always the loudest one and everybody knows Sheriff Toby! He’s a great example of how you just gotta get back up when life knocks you down and keep hopping along.
