We adopted Lucy as a puppy when she was 8 weeks old. She had been pulled by a CO rescue from a high-kill shelter in KS, along with her brothers and sisters. Lucy was very sick the first two weeks we had her, but as she got better and her personality started to come out, we knew we had something special. Not only is she sweet, but she's smart as a whip (she gives our border collie a run for his money), and she loves to be in the spotlight as the family comedian. It's almost as if she knows what to do to make you laugh just when you need it the most. She's now 6.5 years old but still bounds around like the puppy we rescued almost seven years ago, still making us smile and laugh!
