Athena was rescued from a high kill shelter and was to be euthanized minutes before the rescue pulled her out of the shelter. I fostered her knowing that we had a special connection. She stole my heart! The way she looked at me through those innocent and hopeful eyes, I knew she was meant to be a part of my family. I officially adopted her and she has been the best addition to my family. She is super sweet, gentle, fun, playful, and best of all my son's new best friend. I can't believe that she was to be killed because no one wanted her. She is an amazing dog that is living her second chance and I can't thank everyone enough for rescuing her that day. She was truly meant to be with us and we LOVE her more then she knows!!!
