Pet's Story
Ten year old D.O.G. was surrendered to Oregon Humane Society because he had become a little incontinent, was in dire need of dental care (20 teeth had to be extracted!) and had neurological problems making it difficult for him to walk with his hind legs. We have experience with dogs with these kinds of problems and decided he did not need to live a life in a shelter when he could live his life out with us and be well loved in his senior years. He has become a wonderful part of our family and, even though he may need a doggy wheel chair in the coming years, we don't care. We'll take care for him anyway.
