Rules – Entering a Photo:

Pets must have been adopted/rescued from a shelter or rescue at some point during their life.
Pets are not required to have been adopted from WCGHS. If pet was adopted from WCGHS, please note that on entry form. Being adopted through WCGHS does not influence being chosen as a winner. Winners are selected by the number of votes only.
Submitted photos must feature a cat or dog only. No people or body parts allowed.
Photos should be high resolution pixels. Photos are submitted digitally online.
We cannot accept poor quality photos, or photos with extensive enhancements (photoshop), noticeable text, or questionable content.
Only one photo per entry. You may enter as many photos as you like. Each entry requires its own entry form and fee.
All submitted photos must be the original work of the entrant. NO copyrighted or professional photos please.
Once entered, photos become the property of WCGHS and may be used for print and marketing purposes.
Entries can be submitted online starting September 15, 2016 at 12:01 am, and ending October 31, 2016 at 10:00 pm PST.
Submission fees are $5 per submission. Voting fees are $1 per vote.
Prizes will be awarded to these categories:
- First Place Dog Photo, First Place Cat Photo
- Second Place Dog Photo, Second Place Cat Photo
