A Fun and Meaningful Way to Help the Pyrs We Love

Welcome to our first Funktastic Mead Label contest.  

Funktastic Meads And Beer is a Nano-Meadery and Brewery located in the heart of Midlothian, VA just across from Chesterfield Town Center at 1212 Alverser Plaza.  Funktastic focuses on creating Meads (Honey-Wine) with nostalgic and unique flavors in mind.  They offer both still and carbonated meads including flavors like F&M Root Beer and Sweetish Fish and many more.  They pride themselves on providing a special experience whether at a market, festival or in our taproom.  Buzz by and check them out!

Each photo entry (PORTRAIT orientation please) and every single vote helps Appalachian Great Pyrenees Rescue care for the amazing dogs in our care—many of whom have been with us for over a year (some approaching 7 years). With rising costs, fewer adoptions, and less robust donations, your support truly makes a difference. Our goal: $5,000—and we believe we can do it with your help!

Whether they’re goofy, regal, snuggly, or just full of personality, we want to see your Great Pyrenees shine. For a $25 entry fee (which includes 10 votes to get you started), submit your favorite high-quality photo and rally your friends, family, coworkers, and followers to vote your pup to the top!

Yes, quirks are welcome. Yes, other furry companions can join BUT it depends on the size...the label has some size restrictions. There is a possibility that a substitute photo will be requested post-contest. No humans in the pics, please.

How it works:

• $25 entry fee = 10 starting votes
• Votes are $1 each—vote early and often!
• Top vote-getter is featured on the label of the special mead called "Who Let the Dogs Out".
• There are prizes for second and third place.

Last-minute voting often decides the winners—don’t stop 'til the final second! Watch Facebook and your inbox for vote sale announcements. Funktastic Mead makes an amazing and unique holiday gift. Who doesn’t love a big, fluffy Pyr?
