Through this photo competition, one dog, one cat, and one beautiful creature will become the face of
Fullsteam's special edition limited release, Rescue Brew. The dog who garners the most votes along with the cat who garners the most votes, and the other beautiful creature who garners the most votes will be named our Top Pup and Top Kitty! Their winning photos will be turned into custom portraits from local artist,
Echo Lilly Wilson. Those portraits will then become the official
Rescue Brew 2026 labels!
Starting May 1, 2026, submit a photo of your rescued pet and tell us why your dog, cat, or other beautiful creature is the perfect face of Rescue Brew! Nominations open May 1 and end June 30. Voting ends July 10 at 9 pm EST.

All are invited to join us at the Rescue Brew Launch Party on Saturday, August 15 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Boxyard in RTP! Rescue Brew will be on tap and 6-packs will be available for purchase. There will be music and adoptable animals!!!

Second Chance Pet Adoptions is the oldest no-kill animal rescue in Wake County, NC. Since our founding in 1987, we’ve saved over 20,000 animals in the counties around Raleigh-Durham NC and, in so doing, have made an immeasurable positive impact in our community. Together with our volunteers, donors, foster caregivers and adopters, we create second chances – and bright futures – for animals in need.
Our mission is to champion homeless cats and dogs who are healthy or treatable in the quest to find their forever homes & engage with our community to promote responsible pet ownership – ultimately reducing future generations of homeless animals.
The funds raised via the Rescue Brew photo contest will directly support the mission of Second Chance Pet Adoptions and the people and pets in our community.
Prizes

Rescue Brew. The dog, cat, and other beautiful creature who garner the most votes will be named Top Pup and Top Kitty.
The top pet photos will be transformed into custom portraits by local artist Echo Lilly Wilson and featured on Fullsteam’s Limited Edition Rescue Brew 2026 can labels!
💸 Additional Awards:
Pet owners will submit an original photo of their rescue cat or cat and tell us why their pet deserves to be the face of Rescue Brew 2026. Submission photos should only feature
one animal. The competition will be split into two groups: Cat and Dog. At 9 pm EST on July 10 voting will end. The top fundraiser for each category (dog, cat, and other beautiful creature) will be named the winners!
- Animal submissions will cost $10 each (a donation) and will open at 12:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Thursday, April 23, 2026 and end at midnight (11:59:59 PM Eastern Time) on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
- The voting period will end at 9:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Friday, July 10, 2026
- $1 = 1 vote
- Proceeds benefit Second Chance Pet Adoptions
