Does your purrfect companion deserve to be seen by the world? We are looking for the cutest cats and kittens of Central New York, to be featured in a 12-month 2026 calendar supporting CNY SNAP. Entries and voting will occur by donations, to support our mission of providing affordable spay/neuter services for our community, caring for surrendered and stray cats, and placing these cats into loving furever homes.
The contest will open for both photo entries and voting at
9:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, August 24, 2025, and will close at
7:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Winners will be announced after contest end, and calendars will be available for purchase beginning in mid-to-late November.
Prizes
First Prize:
The cat which receives the most number of votes will be included as the calendar cover as well as featured in one month of calendar. The cat’s human will be awarded with 2 free calendars, to be picked up at CNY SNAP’s shelter by appointment.
11 Runner-Ups:
The 11 runner-up cats will be featured in one month of calendar each, and each human will receive 1 free calendar, to be picked up at CNY SNAP’s shelter by appointment.
