Save Rocky the Great Dane Rescue and Rehab is a strictly volunteer-run organization, which means every single dollar raised from this contest goes directly to the care of the dogs in our custody. Your participation helps provide lifesaving medical treatment, food, and preventative care for Great Danes in need.

💕Every Vote and every entry puts us one step closer to saving the next life. We truly could not do this without the support of our fosters, volunteers, and people like you!

💲The Average Cost of Care for One Dog:
Spay/Neuter: $250-$300
Vaccines: $200-$250
Monthly preventatives: $55+

When you take part in this contest, you're not just celebrating your pet's cuteness- you're giving abandoned and at-risk Great Danes a second chance at the loving life they deserve.

Rules

HOW IT WORKS

To get started:
Registration will cost $5 and will run from 9/14/25 to 9/28/25. Just click on the enter contest button ↗️

Contestants may enter as many pets as they would like into the competition, but may only enter each pet once. We also ask that if possible, the picture be from within the last year, although angel🌈 pictures are welcome as well.

To WIN:
Voting will run from 9/14/25 to 9/28/25, and each vote will cost $1. You can visit the site any time and vote for the pet of your choosing. You can also share, share, share your own pet's voting link to all of your family and friends so they can vote too!

The pet photo with the highest number of votes will be the cover of our 2026 Save Rocky calendar and win an awesome prize!! Second place and third also win great prizes found on the prizes tab below 👇. Fourth place through thirteenth will fill out the rest of our calendar📅.

We are also trying something new with our calendar pre-orders this year!

If you pre-order a calendar during the contest, you will get an additional 5 votes that you can award to the pet of your choosing!

As always, 1^st place will be the cover of the 2026 calendar, and 2^nd-13^th places will grace the rest of our calendar!

Reserve a Day to Honor Your Pet

Just want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your pet. This can be for your pet's adoption anniversary, birthday, loved one's birthday, memorial or really any special day! Your pet's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available.
