May is National Pet Month and to celebrate, Asheville Humane Society is hosting our first photo contest for the pets (and pet lovers!) of Western North Carolina!

During the month of May, you can submit your favorite photo of your pet along with their story, and ask your friends and family to vote! The pet who has the most votes by June 1 will become our next local pet celebrity as "WNC's Pet of the Year" and all of the top pets will win PAWsome prizes!

Show off your adorable pet while supporting the care of animals who are still waiting for their forever homes! Voting is open to the general public with $1 equaling 1 vote!

Continue to track your pet's progress and keep an eye out for promotions that will be announced throughout the month! Contest updates will be sent via email and posted on Asheville Humane Society's Facebook page! Please follow us!

Your participation is vital to the success of this fundraiser! We provided care to over 11,000 local animals last year and YOU can help us save even more lives in 2018!
