My Pet's Story
Lou (fka Champ) crossed over to rainbow bridge on August 14, 2023. He was one of the infamous “Indigo’s Litter” of 13 pups in 2012. We got Lou and his littermate Spartacus, at 2 weeks old due to feeding complications w/Indigo. We were blessed to have them. We bottle fed him every 3 hrs. till he could eat on his own and our 3 loving faces were there when he first opened his eyes. His personality was unique. He looked deep into our eyes and his facial expressions were priceless - he tried to talk to you and he understood so many words. Doopie Doo Lou loved to swim, have his frozen treat under the mango tree and play fetch in the yard every day at 5pm. He’d actually put his arm around you if you lay next to him too. He loved his queen-sized brown blanket and drag it room to room in his mouth. Run/swim free sweet boy - until we are reunited again. We’ll always love you, our Great Dane, Lou. ❤️🐾🌈
