My Pet's Story
Spartacus crossed over to rainbow bridge on February 15, 2022. He was one of the infamous “Indigo’s Litter” of 13 pups in 2012. We got Spartacus and his littermate Lou, at 2 weeks old due to feeding complications w/Indigo. We were blessed to have them. We bottle fed him every 3 hrs. till he could eat on his own and our 3 loving faces were there when he first opened his eyes. Spartacus would run circles around every dog at the dog park - people thought he was a greyhound! He became a Tripaw at age 7 when he lost his front leg due to Osteosarcoma. He was a true warrior and beat cancer for 3 years afterward! His facial expressions were priceless - he understood many words too and tried to talk to you too. Barty Boy loved to chew & picked up many coconuts on our walks and tore them to shreds under the tree in the yard. Having 3 legs didn’t keep him down either. His favorite blanket was blue with monkeys on it that he kept close for comfort. He was very competitive with his littermate Lou and always first outside. Run free sweet boy - until we are reunited again. We’ll always love you, our Great Dane, Spartacus. ❤️🐾🌈
