My Pet's Story
Last year I lost my beloved Jackson to cancer after loosing a 6 month aggressive battle against it. I was broken and reluctant to look for another dog right away, but the universe had a different plan for me. While donating Jackson’s food to a shelter, I met some cute dogs which lead me to the Big Dog Ranch Rescue “just to look at some dogs”. Walking through the kennels and secretly looking to see if I found a dog that reminded me of Jackson, I was stopped dead in my tracks by the stare down I was getting from this big beautiful dog sitting excitedly toward the back of his vestibule. I was surprised by my reaction since I never wanted a bigger dog. I asked to play with him and the connection we had was irrefutable. He was my boy. He rescued me. The past year has taught me that love didn’t die with Jackson, my love continues, grows, and evolves with Wesley. I’m incredibly grateful to all who supported me through it! And am truly grateful to Wesley for being him! Sweet, loving, adorable, and pure innocence and joy! Thank you Wesley and Big Dog Ranch Rescue for bringing us together 🐾
