Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) was founded in 1996 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that rescues and shelters abandoned, abused, and neglected dogs and cats with the goal of finding them new homes.
As the largest no-kill animal shelter in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, APR provides comprehensive daily care to more than 200 pets and advocates for animal welfare in the South Florida community.
