I would like to promote my cat Charlie for the Rescue Brew. He is 2.5 years old, feisty, and so freaking curious about everything. Honestly, I am not a cat person and never have been. But he came in to my life when I was struggling with a personal loss. A friend had gone to a Food Lion nearby his house and met this woman with a cat in a cardboard box. She said he needed a good home and he opted to take him. He was very young, 5 or 6 weeks old and fit in the palm of his hand. My friend I guess forgot he was allergic to cats and a few days later, without even knowing what I was going through, just offered me the kitten. Something in my gut told me I needed this little kitten and so I said yes. He has been my baby ever since. In my heart, I truly believe he replaced what I had lost a few weeks earlier. He truly acts like a baby. I have so many pictures of him cuddling up with me at night. Always laying on my chest or right next to me with his head lying right next to mine. Charlie has brought so much joy and laughter to my life. He loves everyone and every string he finds. He is special in that he knows how to play fetch. Its quite fascinating. I think Charlie would be so proud (and I as his mommy too) to represent the Rescue Brew proudly.
