This is my 7 1/2 year old girl Vaeda. We adopted her almost 3 years ago. The person she was with prior to adopting her didn’t take care of her broken paw after she was hit by a car. She’s pretty much a tripod., but you wouldn’t know she has a handicap. 1 month ago she was diagnosed with T cell lymphoma, it’s very aggressive. We were told she was 1-2 to live. I’m beyond thrilled to say she is thriving right now. We are not treating her with chemotherapy. We are treating her symptomatically and she’s been her normal silly, loving, happy, smiling girl. It feels like we just adopted her. Vaeda lives with me, my husband and our 19 year old son. We are devastated that this is happening to her. We are doing everything we can think of to make her last days extra fun.
