Lola is a 9.5 year old pittie mix pup. She was rescued from a really bad situation in Baton Rouge, LA and eventually moved to Chicago, IL with her mom. She was first diagnosed with mast cell cancer at age 4… before relapsing at 4.5, 6, 6.5, and 7.5 years. She has been on palliative chemo for over a year. Despite her rough start, 5+ surgeries, and chemotherapy, she’s still the sweetest pup in the world! Her favorite things to do are to bother kitty siblings and get pets in any dog-friendly Chicago dive bar.

Lola and her mom both have a lot more gray hairs than when they first met, but Lola’s mom is grateful for every single gray hair on this old girl of hers.
