Chunk was rescued from the streets of Vegas by my best friend Michael at the end of 2017. My friend unexpectedly passed away in August of 2018 and his girlfriend did not want to keep Chunk so Michael’s travel agent friend flew me out to Vegas, and rented an SUV for me to drive Chunk back across the country to my farm in Tennessee. It was rough introducing him to my two other dogs, but we are 7 years together and I can’t imagine my life without him. Last year he was diagnosed with cancer and had surgery to remove 4 Mast Cell tumors. The surgical sites all burst open so he had a bit of a rough recovery but he’s good as new now. He is 10 years old this year and I hope he sticks around another 10 more. I love him so!
