New Fairfield/Sherman Animal Welfare (NFSAW) is sponsoring a pet-themed 2023 calendar contest, the proceeds from which will support our rescue efforts – as well as celebrate contestants' animals! The contest is open to everyone; your photo entry does not have to be of a pet adopted from NFSAW – we love them all!


Votes will determine if your pet's photo will be featured in our calendar.


First Place
The top-vote recipient will receive a Portraits by ShawnaLee gift certificate (valued at $325) for an 11" x 14" Pencil or Charcoal Pet Portrait done by artist, ShawnaLee Kwashnak ~and ~ placement on the cover.



Second Place
The second place recipient will receive a $200 Visa gift card.

Third Place
The third place recipient will receive a gift basket of dog/cat items ($150 value).

Top 12 (excluding the top vote recipient)
The 12 next most popular vote recipients will be featured as a full-page pet of the month.
