Contest Entry & Campaign Dates: August 1st - September 6th
No photo entries or voting permitted after 11:59 pm PDT on September 6, 2021
Entry & Donation Fees are $25 per photo, which includes one complimentary copy of the 2022 calendar. Additional calendars may be purchased for $15 each.
There is no limit to the number of photos that may be submitted.
All contest entry fees & donations are tax deductible (EIN # 20-2150714).
$5 donation for each vote. There is no limit to the number of votes or frequency of voting.
Photos must be taken by pet owners. No professional or stock photos are permitted.
Photos must be high quality, high resolution (at least 300 DPI) in a generally accepted file format (JPEG, TIFF, PNG). Photos that don't meet the minimum resolution requirement will not be eligible for “Cover Cat,” “Cat of the Month,” or other full-page photos.
By submitting your photo, you agree to allow Nine Lives Foundation to use your image in the 2022 calendar and in any promotional materials, on all Nine Lives Foundation platforms (website, social media, emails), and in any other print format which may be connected to the 2022 Photo Calendar Contest or future Nine Lives Foundation promotions.
No dogs or other animal photos permitted unless included WITH the cat in the photo.
Please, no political statements in your pictures.
Winners will be chosen by popular vote. The top 15 entries will be awarded as monthly calendar pages, inside cover and back page. The overall winner will be selected for the calendar cover.
Winners of calendar front, back and monthly pages MUST have been adopted from or fostered for the Nine Lives Foundation to be eligible to win.
ALL PHOTOS SUBMITTED WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE CALENDAR in a date block photos or collage page, if not chosen as one of the top 15 photos.
All rights to photos will be subject to the contest privacy and usage policies as seen on the privacy policy notification on this site.
