I had a Pug/Boston for 17 years and 1 day. I was completely devastated when it was time for her to go. I don't have children so she really was my child. The days, weeks, and months passed and I just could not stop feeling empty. We decided it was time to be foster parents because we wanted to help Pugs but were not ready to adopt just yet. We were approved by PRoF soon after. As we waited for a pug to need our help, I watched the FB every day. One day a pug was posted for adoption and something in my soul said, I had to meet this dog. He was in the Orlando area 4 hours away. We just happen to be going to Orlando the next day for a week's vacation and this Pug just happened to be scheduled at a meet and greet. We went and played with all the pugs but Toby stood out. He walked right up and told both of us he was our dog. He had been in and out of about 5 homes that year for no good reason. He just had bad luck and some bad owners. We felt his luck had turned and we were going to be responsible for him being happy and loved for the rest of his life. We were quickly approved and spent much of our vacation purchasing all the needed supplies to bring a dog home from vacation. Toby filled our hearts and our home with love and light. He sleeps all the time but just the sound of his snoring warms my heart. We feel so happy that this big guy now knows he is loved, cared for, and wanted. We have had him for many months now and he is incredibly good. He does have separation anxiety but no bad habits and he is completely housebroken. Thank you PRoF for improving all of our lives!
