Oscar was a low rider rescue dog. My daughter had recently lost her other dachshund a few months earlier, and was looking for another dog to fill her heart. That was Feb 2021
She saw Oscar and fell in love. Even though he was an older dog, he had the energy of a pup.
It was the week before Christmas this year that Oscar was diagnosed with cancer. My daughter had him treated with palliative Chemo, to make him comfortable.
Oscar passed the end of May peaceful. She may have only had him for a little over a year, but that pup brought a lot of joy and laughter to all that met him.
