HarryYour Pet's Rescue Story
Harry was rescued from OCAS as a sickly 3 month old kitten. All of his littermates were adopted but he had a URI he could not get past. He was in the clinic and reaching his due out date in another day. For some reason that day I went to the website and spotted him online. There was just something about that scrawny little baby that immediately touched me. I left work in the middle of the afternoon and went straight to the shelter. I told them I was there for Harry. The lady at the shelter melted. She said they all loved him but knew he was still sick and almost out of time. I was directed to the clinic. He was brought to me wrapped in a towel to keep him warm. I knew he was meant to be my baby as soon as I held him. I never took him out of that towel at the shelter. I completed his adoption forms and took him home with his meds. When we got home I was shocked and delighted to find out he was a manx. That scrawny little guy immediately started to get bigger and stronger and before long, finally beat that URI. Today, 2 and a half years later, Harry is a 15lb kitten. He is the smartest kitty I have ever adopted and just a love. He is super sweet and due to his loving nature, helped me to foster fail on another OCAS survivor and the love of his life, Daisy, formerly Mel. Harry is an amazing boy who beat amazing odds to become the life of the party in our home. We love him so much and couldn't imagine life without him. Harry is a true miracle.
