Tell us something about your dog and share your rescue story
Peggy came to us from Pals For Paws, rescued from a shelter in Kentucky with one day to spare. She was born without one of her front legs, but with the spirit to survive joyfully.
Peggy talks when she has something on her mind. The best part of our day is when she sees us come through the door. She grabs a toy, squeals with delight, and runs to us for loving. There is no bad day that this welcome home can’t fix.
Never the “underdog,” Peggy roughhouses with our other dogs, races them to the top of the stairs, and has assumed the alpha role in the pack. She regularly inspires us to not allow life to dictate attitude.
With two speeds, full-on joyful and asleep, Peggy hopes to race up the standings and land on the calendar to remind others that differences are not limitations.
