Why is Your Pet "Rescued (or Stray) and Unforgettable"?
Sometimes a "problem" dog turns out to be a wonderful companion. It's simply that her behavior had been misunderstood.
Blue was being fostered after having already been kicked out of four previous homes. She had aggression issues, trusted no one, and ate furniture! But for Jeffrey and his wife, when they saw Blue on a rescue site, it was love at first photo . Something about her in the photograph just made them think, "this is the dog for us."
When they went to see her in the foster home, they immediately fell in love! She wasn't really aggressive-she was just hyperactive, insecure, and anxious.
Today, five years later, and after hours and hours of time spent walking her, loving her and just being with her, the transformation has been miraculous!. Blue has turned into a dog who loves and trusts everyone. Jeffrey says she is an absolute joy to live with. She has replaced furniture and window sills with traditional chew toys; it just takes time, patience and love!
Today, Blue is a friendly, happy, and loving dog. After having never been in a stable situation before, all she really needed was love and a family that could appreciate and enjoy her high activity level, and what is now her outstanding personality.
Blue has become the most loyal, loving family dog imaginable. She loves to go out and do things and meet new people. She enjoys going new places and knows how to behave. As a result of their experience with Blue, Jeffrey and his wife hope to some day open their home to older pits that need a loving and caring place to live out their lives.
