Tell us why your dog supports the ARLNH!
It was a brisk September day when Milo was first surrendered to the ARLNH. At 5 years old, he was no spring chicken for a golden retriever. We knew adopting him meant we wouldn't have as much time with him as we would if we purchased a puppy. But that didn't stop us. He had 5 more wonderful years to live and every day we were grateful that the Animal Rescue League of NH brought us together. Milo supported the ARLNH through countless events and fundraisers during his life with us, and would be honored to know that the story of his life would continue to make an impact for other dogs even after his passing.

Tell us what makes your dog better than all the rest!
From the moment he came home, Milo fit into our family perfectly. He adored his big sister, a smaller yellow mutt named Kaylee, and welcomed every animal that came after him. It isn't easy to find a dog that can get along with other dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, alpacas, and goats - but Milo did! A couple years after he came home, he even welcomed a small human into his world. He enjoyed the extra attention and extra treats that fell from the sky and never complained about sharing his parents. Milo would spend hours outside watching over the farm and often swimming in the swamp (as evidenced by his photo). We had to say goodbye to Milo this past March, but those muddy paw prints he left on our hearts will never fade.
