Pet's Story:
Pants is a 4.5 year old beagle who spent the first 2 years of his life as a laboratory test dog. When we adopted him, Pants was his name and it stuck! We think he is named because of the color pattern on his legs. As a little guy, we can see how he probably looked like he was wearing pants! We adopted him in Chicago, IL from the amazing group Homes for Animal Heroes and he has been the best friend to our 13 year old shepherd and us humans ever since. The photo submitted is of him relaxing next to Lake Michigan in Chicago in the spring. Pants loves all dogs but because he was surrounded by beagles for his first 2 years, he immediately recognizes and loves his beagle friends the most. We hope to meet more friends this upcoming year in meet ups!
