Hayden has been in and out of the shelter since October 2022. After his final surrender, he joined BARC at their alternate site and has been thriving in further developing skills that have improved his quality of life, home readiness and community involvement. Hayden was not hardened by the disappointment he experienced because of environmental and human variables but instead stands as a great example of the necessity to embrace new learning opportunities and bounce back from difficult situations. Hayden's skill set is vast and it has shown consistency in different environments such as the local brewery, stores, and while out in the community on walks. Hayden is the ideal spokesdog for rescued pets as uncertainty has unfortunately been a large part of his life. However, Hayden embodies a deep happiness and zest for life and this has helped him to overcome adversity and become the amazing, loving, and deeply connected being that he is.
